Data collection and use
- Kmaps uses a non-personal identifier provided by our billing partner (RevenueCat) to manage subscriptions and apply purchases to the correct device. This identifier is not linked to any personally identifiable information.
- If a user taps the current location feature, temporary access to device location is used to display the user's current position on the map. This location data is not stored or transmitted.
Permissions disclosure
- Location access is initiated by the user and used solely to display their current position on the map. Kmaps does not access location data in the background.
- No other personal or sensitive permissions are requested or used.
Third-party services
Kmaps relies on third-party services, which operate under their own privacy policies:
Data sharing
- No personally identifiable data is collected, shared, or sold.
- Only essential integrations (Apple Maps, Google Maps/Street View, RevenueCat) process limited non-personal data to provide app functionality.
Data security
- Data transmission is protected using HTTPS.
- Any collected data is handled in accordance with industry-standard security practices.
Data retention and deletion
- Kmaps does not create user accounts or store personal information.
Policy changes
This policy may be updated if required by law or when app functionality changes. Updates will be reflected by the effective date above.
In-app disclosure
Location access is only requested when a user taps the location feature. A permission dialog is shown at the time of use, describing the need for access.
